Background

Since the Advancing Life and Regenerating Motherland (ALARM) has been implementing the development projects such as Advocacy, Engagement and Public Dialogue in forest governance Project, Strengthening the forest governance through civil society monitoring and tracking illicit timber flow, Natural Resources Governance with Women’s Empowerment Project, Enhancing Rural Livelihood and Infrastructure Project throughout the country currently, We, ALARM ,is seeking the interested young candidates for the position of Interns who meet with the following duties and responsibilities in order to train them while working at the project activities of ALARM.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Program Director of ALARM, the Interns will be necessary to perform the assigned duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

The candidates must have the following qualifications;

  1. Must be a Myanmar citizen and the age should not be beyond 25
  2. Must hold a degree recognized by the Myanmar government
  3. Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft office word, Excel)
  4. No working experiences
  5. Must have strong willingness to learn
  6. Must be interested in the environmental affairs
  7. Must be interested in the development sector of Myanmar
  8. Must be interested in formulation of policies and laws
  9. Must be interested in the extension and research activities
  10. Ability to work with the team
  11. Ability to serve at the remote areas if required
  12. Must have strong personality and social skills
